Hi, my name is Tara Zann and I am the world’s first and only body building drag queen; so, if you want a man in a wig doing some high energy shows with tricks, kicks and splits then I’m your girl.

I have been doing drag since 2019 when I attended my university graduation in full drag – first class honours and all (tosses hair and flips off homophobe). Since then, I have performed all over Australia and even slayed stages across Europe.

In 2021 I entered my first professional bodybuilding competition but of course I was going to cause a scene and compete in the male line up in full drag! GAG! I decided to do this to promote queer visibility and to show everyone that queer people are allowed to have passions outside of the status quo and that they should be taken seriously and accepted when they do. The response was mostly really supportive, and I even got to vanquish some homophobes from the industry which was iconic. I competed again, in drag, in 2022 with plans for more comps in the future.

I think it is so cool that I can spark joy for so many people just by doing something I love so in 2024 I launched Fierce Functions. Since then, I have been running my own events across Southeast QLD and Northern NSW.
